President Dorrough Honored for service

Arkansas Society President David Dorrough was honored recently at the DeSoto Trace Chapter meeting on 13 Mar 2021. The president received a plaque from the Arkansas Secretary of State John Thurston for his distinguished service to the state and community. Additionally, he received a parting gift of a beautiful SAR decanter set from the DeSoto Trace members as well as members of other state chapters. In one of his final acts as president Dorrough awarded the Outstanding Chapter plaque and flag streamer to the DeSoto Trace President Gene Rasure, Past Chapter Secretary Jimmie Weber and AR Vice President Charles McLemore.
