DeSoto Trace President Gene Rasure inducted Compatriot Leroy Farmer into the Arkansas Society at the September 12th meeting. Compatriot Farmer was also presented the War Service Medal with Iraq Bar and Purple Heart Pin. Compatriot Farmer is a U.S. Army combat wounded veteran of the Iraq War. Leroy is a descendant of Major Christopher Truby who served under LtCol William Parrey, 1st Batt, and as a Captain under Col John Perry, 2nd Batt. Pennsylvania Troops.
