DeSoto Trace Vice President and Compatriot Jeff Meek was presented an "Arkansas Traveler" Award at the Sept. 14th meeting. Meek who has filled our guest speakers list for the last 2 years is moving to Texas to be closer to his family. Jeff was also awarded the Bronze Roger Sherman Medal for his outstanding service to the SAR & Veterans.
