Ninety year old Compatriot "Ted" Carrithers received his SAR certificate from DeSoto Trace Chapter President Charles McLemore. Ted is a descendant of William Carrithers (1760-1836) who was a private, Col. Gattis' Regiment guarding Garret's Fort on Big Whitley River, PA, 1781. Welcome aboard Ted!
