New members Dale Lovell who is a descendant of Patriot John King (1743-1806) who was a Road Commissioner and took the Oath of Allegiance to make a land entry ROWAN CO NC 10 MAR 1778 and Patrick Flenniken a descendant of Patriot John Flenniken (1744-1810), a Signer of the Mecklenburg Declaration 1775, Justice of the Peace and Road Overseer 1778. Certificates were presented by President Charles McLemore (left) and Gene Rasure (right) were welcomed at the December 14th meeting.
